Story

I came to the United States in March 1990 with the idea of building a life that in my country, without the proper social status and education, is very difficult.  I had a vision that with hard work and determination, anything is possible here, and it's true!  When I arrived here, I learned to clean working at a hotel in Redwood City.  After that, I transitioned into residential cleaning working for a woman, who taught me how to clean as part of a crew.  After 10 years of working as a housekeeper and nanny, I decided to start my own business to give me the flexibility I would need with my daughter.  Thanks to Start Up, I learned how to develop and manage a small business.  I now have two employees and recently bought a new van to expand the business.  I'm working hard but couldn't be happier running my own business!
